About Me

Hello! My name is Audrey Corbin. I am the middle of three sisters and wouldn’t have it any other way. I love to dance, the looking-like-a-fool-but-loving-it kind. I run, I write, I love Jesus my savior and he gives me an inexpressible joy in it all! I’m slowly realizing as I learn more, just how little I know. What an exciting world and time we live in. I’ll quote my dad saying, “Everyone is always smarter than you at something. Learn as much as you can.” I started this blog to rejoice with you in God’s grace in my life and to document the days in the life of a new nurse.

Like I said, LOVE to dance

RUNNING

It’s the thrill of a tiring myself out with a challenge that keeps my feet moving. I was a sprinter my whole life, first in soccer, then in track. It’s like a whole new world, when you run your heart out; it’s something spiritual. God knows me better than I know myself, and he gave me the legs to run and time to enjoy Him, so I run. Looking forward to the accountability that comes with sharing workouts and training!

The real running started back in high school.

NURSING

It’s hard. It’s worth it.

I pray God keeps my heart soft as I continue to care for so many vulnerable bodies and spirits. Now embarking on my first year as Audrey Corbin, RN, BSN I still proclaim, I am joyfully His, called to nursing for His glory.

SAVED BY MUCH NEEDED GRACE

The name of this blog is Joyfully His. As I thought about my life, it really is Jesus Christ himself who defines me. I belong to him (Galatians 4:4-7). And God has made this journey with him the most fun, humbling, joyful, difficult, hopeful, and purposeful thing I will ever do. Romans 5:2 says, ” Through him we also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Set free by his sacrifice, I have to say, he loves me and he dearly loves you, too. He’s the best thing that can happen to someone, and the work has already been done- Jesus came down, died, rose, and made a way for us to be reconciled to God. We have been bought at a price, now free to choose life, joy, peace, and eternity in Him. That makes me want to sing! Psalm 98:3-4 says, “He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; breath forth into joyous song and sing praises!” I am joyfully His.
